50 Cent Signs $78 Million Dollar Underwear Deal

Rapper and proven business mogul "50 Cent" aka Curtis Jackson has done it again. The Rapper/Actor/Businessman has signed a deal that some would otherwise deem as awkward and weird to associate rap and underwear. But if anyone can link the two, it's 50 Cent.

In a deal that will net him $78 Million Dollars, 50 signed on to Frigo RevolutionWear Underwear Brand, whose brand is  “Created to revolutionize the underwear industry by offering men optimal comfort, moisture-control and support, with style and practicality in mind.”

50 revealed the deal on Late Night with Seth Meyers, then Instagramed a picture with the caption “I just did a deal for $78 million for underwear. What did you muthafuckas do today? Lllllllllooooolllllllllll #Boom #FRIGO,”

Bobby Shmurda Behind Bars after long investigation

New York rapper "Bobby Shmurda" legal name Ackquille Pollard was picked up at Quad City Studios in Manhatten along with a few unnamed affiliates of his GS9 Crew after a long term investigation. The NY rapper who put out "Hot N**ga" and more recently "Bobby Bitch" has been linked to issues with drug trafficking and gun possession has again been picked up on similar charges sources say.

This would be the artists 3rd offense this year with both violations. No further info is available at this time regarding this arrest.

Hopsin calls it quits for the Aussie Life

Rapper and Funk Volume founder "Hopsin" told the world he would quit this year and move to Australia, what could have been marked as a joke by some of his fans quickly became a reality when he did just that earlier today. Leaving his half of Funk Volume to his partner and quitting rap for good. When asked why he was doing this, these were his comments:

“I just wanted to take time out to say I appreciate all of u who have supported my music over these past few years. A Lot of u have told me stories about how I have changed your life. You too have changed mine in ways that u can never imagine. Unfortunately, tonight is the night that I am actually moving away to Australia. Over the past couple years I have come to conclusion that this profession just isn't for me, so im going to venture out into new areas of life. I will always be an MC at heart, but this rap stuff just isn't for me. I hope Youguys can respect it. I've signed over my half of the funk volume label to my business partner Dame. I also wished Swizzz, Dizzy Wright and Jarren Benton good luck in their careers. Thank u all! I'm out.”

Hiphop Gives Back

Especially now during the holidays it is time to look out and help the less fortunate. Donate to your local food bank, soup kitchen, thrift shop, or goodwill collection. This Heat 16 will definitely touch hearts. The artists had to live and breathe as if they were homeless and endure the faces from people, the neglect, and the bitter cold. It's a real eye opener.
